Privacy
Scalp photos are personal.
Here's exactly what happens to yours.
What we collect
The images you capture, the measurements taken from them, and what you tell us about your age, treatments and self-reported stage. That's it.
Why we keep it
To generate your report and compare later scans against earlier ones. Tracking change only works if the earlier scans still exist.
Backing up and sharing scans
Scans are saved on your phone. Creating an account is optional. If you sign in and turn on Back up my scans, your results and reports are stored in your account, visible only to you (and to us for support). Separately, if you turn on Share my scan images, the close-up scalp frames from your scans are uploaded and may be used to improve GraftReport’s measurements. Both are off unless you choose them, we record when you turn them on or off, and you can turn either off at any time in the app. To delete your account and data, email us.
AI analysis
To count follicles, your saved scanner frames are sent to our analysis service, which uses Anthropic’s Claude. If you add whole-head photos, those are sent too, along with your age and Norwood answer. The model only counts and describes; every verdict in your report comes from fixed rules. Scanner frames and photos are not used for advertising.
Who sees it
Your images are used to produce your report. We don't sell them and we don't hand them to clinics or advertisers.
Deleting it
Email us and we'll delete your images and measurements. If you cancel a subscription you keep read-only access to scans you already paid for.
