How it works.

A few minutes of scanning, and numbers you can compare against for years.

Connect

The scanner broadcasts its own Wi-Fi network. Join it from your phone and open the app in your browser. Nothing to install; works on iPhone and Android.

Sweep each zone

The app shows where to place it. Hold it against your scalp and move slowly for about ten seconds. Blurry frames are discarded automatically.

Get your report

Shaft caliber, share of hairs thinning, and how loss zones compare to hair that never thins — everything as a range with confidence stated.

Scan again later

Later scans line up against the first. Magnification is fixed and every unit ships calibrated, so measurements stay comparable across months.

On cleaning. Wipe the contact tip with alcohol before and after each use, and between people if you're scanning someone else — same as any instrument that touches skin.

Why it stays accurate

Fixed magnification is the whole trick.

Scanners with a zoom dial are a problem for tracking: a dial that shifts between sessions silently changes your scale, and you'd have no way to know. Ours is fixed at 50× and calibrated against a laser-etched glass slide, so a measurement today means the same thing as one in six months.
